Oh my Glob Shoes!

Not too long ago this guy by the name of Manolo Blahnik made some dope sandals, and now there are similar looking shoes at every price range. These are from DSW, and are called Michael Antonio Lovina Sandals. They are priced at $39.95 and come in a pinkish color as well. Although, I prefer the black here.

These shoes are also in that similar style and are also found at DSW. The detail on the ankle and toe straps is cute, and the color is unique. For some it could be flesh colored. The price is a little bit more perhaps because it is Calvin Klein. These cost $89.95 and they also come in a black color.

MY ADIDAS! I love Adidas, I don't know it is something about the stripes. These leather high tops feature pink details and are found at Urban Outfitters for $75.00. Also Urban Outfitters has free shipping for $50!

Staying at Urban, these shoes, called Heeled Fisherman Boot, whatever that means, are safe. Safe meaning they are closed toed in a way, but still good for hot weather. These kind of remind me of gladiator sandals but not. They are priced at $69.00.

Wedged sandals are a safer bet for practical walking. These are also from Urban Outfitters and have that similar sandal design as the first two shoes. I like that look with the straps on the ankles and over the toes. The cost for these Seychelles Sometimes wedge sandals is $90.00.

Miranda Kerr wore some similar shoes like this for the H&M campaign she was featured in earlier this year. These bad boys are from ZARA and come in this electric blue color that caught my eye. They cost $89.90.

Going BOGO for F21

Forever 21 is having a BOGO sale, also known as a buy one get one free. I believe it is only in store and it applies to merchandise that is already on sale. Good enough for a window shop! This Fresh Satin Varsity Jacket looks so familiar yet new at the same time. I swear I had a jacket similar to this in the 90's but perhaps with louder color, kind of like the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air or something. The jacket was $29.80 and is now $20.99. Although the sale is in-store only I'll have the links below.

Yellow is a very attractive color, to me at least. I love yellow and this dress is very floral and bright. The cut out in the front is not too flashy either.The original price is $22.80 and now it is on sale for $18.01. 

Lupita Nyong'o really inspired me with her fashion choices during the movie award season. One thing that I really admired was her natural hair and her use of headbands to accessorize. Having short natural hair can be hard to do at times. Watching her transform the beauty standards of Hollywood one red carpet at a time is amazing to say the least. This head band is called Pretty-Tough and it was originally $3.80 and is now just $0.99.

Another person who had a bit of influence was Pharrell Williams. His odd but wonderful hat brought a lot of joy to the every appearance he made. I couldn't help but check out some hats. This one is not exactly like his, but it is a Out West Wide-Brim Fedora. It was $18.80 but it is now $12.99.

Target's On Point

Target has some nice sales going on and I couldn't help but notice a couple of attractive "wants." For starters the Sunday advert I saw features the iPhone 5s. I've always liked the way iPhones look aesthetically. Recently the features of the Galaxy phones seem more useful for me. I like to drag and drop music and add external memory. The iPhone 5s is regularly priced at $199.99 and now it will be $119.99 plus you can get a $20 gift card.

Movies were also in the advert. I don't usually buy movies on DVD throughout the year, I typically get them in December. But 12 Years a Slave was such a popular movie that I actually "want" it on DVD. Nope, I didn't see it in theaters because...nobody wants to see a slave movie in theaters and then go the rest of the day with that in mind. Well, at least that is my logic. I do however see more upbeat movies like The Butler. The DVD is one of the $10 deals available. 

I am not sure if this is something in all Target stores or just depends on the location, but I really liked this mirrored jewelry box. It reminds me of a miniature dresser. Miniature things are kind of an affinity for me because of those "Littles" books. It was a whole thing, and I think they had a show at one point. This jewelry box is usually $24.99 but it is on sale for $20.00.

Coldplay was on SNL last night and I am excited for their newest album to come out. During a commercial break I found out that Coldplay's album Ghost Stories will have 3 extra songs at Target! This "want" will definitely become a purchase in the near future. Coldplay is my favorite all male band. That is very specific but I do have a favorite all female band. Coldplay's album is out May 19th and will cost $12.99. Side note how awesome was Chris Martin and company on SNL?

Bags for Dayz

I got my H&M catalog and the first thing that caught my eye was this small square with a hook on the end. I thought it was a coin purse at first, but nope, it is a wallet. That is pretty cute, to have s small square wallet. I think the only downside would be having a crease in the bills, but who needs perfectly flatten money anyway? I think a square wallet would save space, also it kind of reminds me of a miniature suitcase for some reason. This one is 100% leather and comes in two different colors. The cost is $34.95.

I don't know why I like looking at suit cases and luggage, as if that will magically make me have a trip to go on. But I like looking at luggage. This is from Victoria's Secret and I like the black and white detail of it. These bags remind me of my old Adidas shoes I got two Christmas's ago. Black and white always looks nice. I guess the only downside here is that it wouldn't stand out too much in a crowd. This set includes the three bags below and cost $148.00.

ZARA always has me scrolling for bags. I've never bought anything from them before but I suspect that if I ever actually make a purchase it would be a purse. This bag is called the Mini City Bag with Zip. It strikes me as slightly similar to that Celine nano bag that was everywhere a year ago. Not that it looks exactly like it, just in the fact that both remind me of robot face. Yes, when I see the Celine bag, I see an emotionless robotic face looking back. This bag also looks like a robot face to me. I can't tell if it is creepy or cute. It comes in two colors as well, and the cost is $79.90.

ZARA got me twice! I really liked this structured bag, also called Mini City Bag, but there is not a Zip included in the name. I feel like this bag is very serious looking. If it could speak it could say "I'm a law school graduate." Or maybe it just says "I'm cute and structured." Either way, I find the form attractive and it looks like it could hold a folder or two. I also like the tail part that holds keys. Does that part have a name? It looks nice on this bag. This one only appears in blue, as far as I can tell, and the cost is $79.90.
